<image:caption>Tony was elected to the Foundation’s Board of Directors in November 2021. As a Legacy Director, Tony succeeds his father, Hank Adams, a Founding Director and a Past President of the Foundation. When Hank developed a heart ailment that restricted his physical activities, Tony provided assistance to Hank that allowed him to function as President until his death. Tony is the second oldest living grandchild of Eddie and Annie Adams. As such, his memory of the Foundation’s namesakes is an important factor in ensuring the activities of the Foundation uphold the values, aspirations and legacy for which the Foundation was created. Tony, a proud father of four chidren, retired from Kennecott Copper after a 30+ year career, during which he worked in several areas, including ore mining, copper smelting and computer technology. Tony currently lives in West Valley, Utah with his wife of 26 years, Cheryl, and teenage grandson, Nick, for whom they became primary caregivers after the tragic death of Nick’s mother.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Vision - Education is a key to success.</image:title>
<image:caption>March 10, 2018 Dear Family and Friends We are pleased to announce the formation of the Eddie & Annie Adams Educational Foundation. The Foundation is a nonprofit corporation, chartered in the State of Utah, and recognized by the IRS as a charitable private foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We have formed the Foundation for three principal purposes. First, it is our desire to honor our parents, who through their love, sacrifice and wise parenting enabled us to achieve the educational and economic successes we enjoy today, and any professional and community honors we have received. Second, we wish to pass on to our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and beyond, a sense of family and ancestry that will encourage them to achieve their highest potential in all endeavors they pursue, and to live their lives with pride and purpose. Third, we have chosen to combine our economic resources and distribute them in the assistance of family members and other members of our communities in their efforts to achieve their career advancement goals, and in so doing maximize the impact of our contributions. Our contributions and any other contributions that may be forthcoming will be used to provide grants to students who demonstrate the intellectual ability and drive to complete a career advancement program and are in need of financial assistance to achieve this goal. We shall also work toward building a foundation corpus with the goal of generating sufficient foundation earnings to fund annual awards for years to come. We will communicate with you from time to time on the activities and progress of the Foundation, and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions for making the Foundation a meaningful memorial to Eddie and Annie Adams. Afesa Adams, Founding President</image:caption>
